The Week 1 Update materially changed heavy weapons, Axatana, ripostes, several Tarstones and the upgrade economy. Any launch-day build that ignores those changes is incomplete. The strongest defensible starting directions are a heavy-weapon posture setup and an Axatana ability setup; neither is presented as a universal damage winner without frame-tested numbers.
