Weapon progression has two layers
Crimson Moon lets players prepare weapons at the Loadout Station and discover equipment during hunts. Official explainers say successfully completing a hunt allows discovered weapons, armour and trinkets to be purified into the permanent collection.

How to evaluate a weapon
A weapon page needs more than a name or rarity. Record when it becomes available, whether it was purified, what Angel and supporting gear were used, the mission modifier, and whether the observation came from solo or co-op play. Until those variables are tested, ParryGrid does not publish an unsupported weapon tier.
